When photographing flowers I always try different views and different backgrounds. I first shot this Anemone with some foliage as the background but the green did not suit the shot at all. I looked down and saw a rock. I recomposed getting the rock in the shot which made for a wonderful natural background. The second one is my fave because of the background. It has some green mixed in with the brown of the rock. I believe this was due to some moss growing on the rock and when I stepped back for another shot it got added in to the background.

And of course we are not complete without an up close view really brings out the colors of the flower.
